Northbay Adobe User Group Mission Statement

The Northbay Adobe User Group was founded in May 2007 to provide a forum of support and technology to students, professionals, and enthusiasts. At NBAUG we strive to create community, increase networking, unveil the latest technology innovations, and reveal the techniques that turn novices into experts, and experts into gurus across many of the Adobe applications.

Our next meeting will be in August

Our very own Barbara Heiman will be doing a demo of album templates from Graphic Authority. Plus, she will have free background CDs for everyone in attendance (the real thing, not demos). Graphic Authority is moving away from single CDs, and now distributing their artwork in bundles. I also have a couple of bundles for raffle prizes--worth abut $125 apiece.

She will then follow up with a one hour Webinar from Victor Hu of Nik Multimedia on their latest, super-wonderful Photoshop filters that she saw at Photoshop World. These filters selectively sharpen, blur and adjust--without having to select first.

12th Annual Webby Awards

Webby-in-Motion is a special collaborative contest presented by Adobe and The Webby Awards where we ask motion designers, illustrators, animators and other talented creative minds to design a 20-second category introduction animation/video for The Webby Awards Gala in NYC on June 10, 2008. Since we know that that sort of thing can often be time-consuming, creatively draining, mind-numbing, frustrating and sometimes even dangerous, we offer the grand-prize winner this sweet foursome:
